About Tom

Born and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts, a city 10 miles north of Boston, Tom learned to play the guitar at the early of age of 6 and began playing for family and friends, who were kind to him, at the time.  When Tom attended St. Mary's High School, Tom played regularly for the weekly "Folk Mass" held in the chapel at St. Mary's Church.  During High School Tom played rhythm guitar for a rock band, (go figure), that played regularly at school functions.

Tom moved on and eventfully returned to his Irish roots and began playing pub gigs, bars and socials belting out the Irish songs for many a heart to enjoy around the Boston area.

Tom moved to New York City in 1993 and began playing with Mike Doyle shortly after.  Tom & Mike played regularly at the infamous "1st Avenue Pub" for a number of years until it was shut down (not because of us you see - it was about the money).  It is now a Dunkin Donuts.

Tom continues to keep busy playing around the Tri-State area.  Check out his Song page for some samples of his work.
Some of the artists that Tom covers include. Christy Moore, Paddy Reilly, The Wolfe Tones, The Furey's, Goats don't Shave, Liam Reilly of Baggatell, Irish Rebels songs from all the conflicts of the past 800 years.  Give Tom a listen on the Song page.
